World of adventure
We, Knopf and Frieda, accompany you on your search for the 3,000 Teddy bears through fantastic animated worlds of experience for all the senses!
Due to repair work, the Steiff Museum, the Steiff Museum Shop and the Factory Outlet
will be closed from Tuesday, January 07, 2025 to Wednesday, January 15, 2025.
Opening hours for the museum and the museum shop:
Tuesday to Sunday 10.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m., (Last admission museum tour 4.00 p.m.)
Closed on Mondays.
During the Baden-Württemberg holidays we are also open on Mondays.
Steiff Factory Outlet in Giengen:
Opening hours: Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
We are closed on 25 and 26 December, 01 January, and on 24 and 31 December we are only open until 1.00 p.m., last admission to the museum 12.00 a.m.

In the historical area, you can see selected and now rare exhibits from over 140 years of Steiff history. A paradise for fans, collectors and every Steiff enthusiast.

Animals to pet & touch
Don't be afraid of the big ones. You can stroke and cuddle all the animals here. They are lovely and look forward to meeting you. Elephants, gorillas, polar bears, dromedaries, donkeys, lions and so many more... Experience our fantastic world of large animals - the world's largest Steiff petting zoo. Marvel at life-size, exotic Steiff animals on your very own private safari.
A fast-paced slide
Snake slide
The largest Steiff snake slide - the world's first slide-in Steiff animal winds its way through the Steiff Museum. 15 metres long, weighing 800 kg, 80 cm in diameter, 60 square metres of mohair. Look forward to a fast-paced slide.
